Leah Gay Brock

Mrs. Leah Gay Brock, 94, of Scottdale, died Tuesday, May 6, 2008. A native of Jenkins County, Mrs. Brock was a long-time resident of DeKalb County. She was a homemaker, and a member of Clarkston Baptist Church. Mrs. Brock was preceded in death by her husband, Joe B. Brock and is survived by her daughter, Joann Glass of Aiken, SC; sons and daughters-in-law, Kenneth and Jan Brock of Stone Mountain, Dennis and Maria Brock of Scottdale; thirteen grandchildren; twenty two great grandchildren; eleven great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 10th in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Kenneth Sweat and Rev. Cookie Sweat officiating. Interment, Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday and Friday evening at A. S. Turner & Sons.
