Mrs. Lila Sheppard Smith, 100, of Atlanta passed away on Saturday, March, 17, 2012. Her beloved husband of 54 years, Louie G. (Jack) Smith predeceased her in 1992. She is survived by her nieces Mrs. Rene Wilkerson, of Cilo, AL; Mrs. Bennette Watson, of Brewton, AL and nephew Mr. Robert Sheppard, of Montgomery, AL. A funeral service will be held on Saturday March 24, 2012 At North Decatur United Methodist Church at 2:00 PM with Dr. Jody Alderman officiating. Interment will follow at Decatur Cemetery. Friends are invited to gather in the fellowship hall one hour to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to North Decatur United Methodist Church or to Hospice Atlanta. A.S.
