Lois Anne Huddleston Guzzardi, 58, died December 15 at home after a long and courageous fight with cancer. A native of Atlanta, Ms. Guzzardi was the daughter of James Daniel, III and Betty Dekle Huddleston. She was an artist and a tireless champion for the rights of special needs children. Lois was preceded in death by her father, James Daniel Huddleston, III. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Victor Guzzardi; two daughters, Victoria (Eddie) Kreller and Lauren (Rob) Conner; mother, Betty Dekle Huddleston; brother, James Kelly (JoEllen) Huddleston; two grandsons, Edward and Nicholas Kreller; granddaughter, Samantha Anne Conner; nephews and niece, Michael, Max and Michelle Huddleston; and a long-time special friend, Susan Hicks. Graveside services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at Boston Georgia Cemetery. Rev. Don West officiating. A memorial service will be 1:00 PM Saturday at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Atlanta.
