Lorena Smith Ford, 94, of Dunwoody formerly of Tucker passed away Thursday April 26, 2012. Mrs. Ford was a long time member of Belvedere United Methodist Church and a nurse for 45 years, but was always a caregiver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Dean Ford, Sr. and is survived by sons, Jon & Lynne Ford and Dean Ford; brothers, Ben & Gloria Smith, Herbert & Nadria Smith, Fred Smith; sisters, Mable & Don Proctor and Vina Mae Harris; granddaughters, Andrea & Faith Ford. Funeral services will be held Monday April 30 at 1:30 pm in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Julie Schendel officiating with interment in Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 7:00 pm Sunday April 29 at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory.
