Louie N. Dowis

Louie N. Dowis of Decatur died Wednesday, November 24, 2004.  He was a veteran of World War II serving in the U. S. Navy.  Mr. Dowis was a member of Clifton Presbyterian Church and a driving instructor at Tallman Driving School and Sears.  He is survived by his son, Louie N. Dowis, Jr. of Kennesaw, GA; daughter, Sherri Lynn Dowis Christensen of Orange County, CA; brothers, Ben Dowis and Max Dowis, both of Gainesville, GA.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 4th at Clifton Presbyterian Church with Rev. Melissa Tidwell officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.  A. S. Turner & Sons.
