Major Dan Delaney, 68, of Buford, Georgia was promoted to Glory on October 18, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Major Lynda Delaney; children, Daniel Delaney, Chana Jordan (Jon), David Delaney (Danielle), and Chris Delaney; parents, Majors Elwood and Lorraine Delaney of Panama City, FL; three grandchildren, Brandon and Brittni Jordan and AnnaBelle Grace Delaney; two sisters, Major Patricia Bledsoe (John) and Vanessa Houseal (Bill) of Panama City, FL; brother, Timothy Delaney (Thelma) of Panama City, FL; along with numerous nieces, nephews and loved ones. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 11:00 am at The Salvation Army Temple Corps, 2090 N. Druid Hills Rd., NE, Atlanta, GA 30329 with viewing from 9:30 am – 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers send donations to The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center, 740 W. Marietta St., NW, Atlanta, GA 30318. A. S. Turner & Sons
