Malcolm James Magid

Malcolm James Magid, 88, of Atlanta, died May 16, 2012. Mr. Magid was a retired sales representative for Reeves Brothers, a printing equipment manufacturing company, where he was employed for over 25 years. He served his country during WWII in the U. S. Army Air Corps as a pilot in the Ardennes, Central Europe and Rhineland campaigns. As a 2nd Lieutenant, Malcolm received six Air Medals, the WWII Victory Medal and the Germany Occupancy Medal. He was extremely proud of his military service and his membership in American Legion Post 134. Mr. Magid is survived by his wife of 66 years, Iris Fenson Magid; daughter, sons, grandchildren, A memorial service to honor his life will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Burial with Military Honors will be held Wednesday, May 223, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Georgia National Cemetery. The family will visit with friends one hour prior to the service at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
