Margaret Evans

Mrs. Margaret Evans of Decatur died Friday, March 30, 2007.  She was a teacher at Forrest Hills Elementary and taught Sunday school at Columbia Presbyterian Church.  Mrs. Evans was very active in her community and had a tremendous love for animals.  She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Evans and a son Lee Evans. Mrs. Evans is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, MacRay and Cathy Evans; grandsons, Daniel Evans, Justin Evans, Joshua Evans; great grandson, Elijah Evans; and several nieces and nephews.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 3rd in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons.  Rev. Tom Haygood will officiate.  Interment Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
