Margaret (Peggy) Hughes

Margaret "Peggy" Hughes of Decatur died Sunday, June 19, 2005. She was a clinical psychiatric nurse specialist in Atlanta and she and her husband had recently established a second residence in Gainesville, GA. She is survived by her husband, Lt. Col. William C. Hughes; daughter, Kathryn Graeme Halberg of Decatur; son, William Braden Hughes of Decatur; mother, Jean Anderson of Dahlonega;  two grandchildren, Taylor and Jay Halberg; Sister, Amy Booker of Dahlonega; and two brothers, Robert Archer of Knoxville, TN and Kenneth Archer of Loganville. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 22nd, Chaplain William O. Nisbet and Pastor Bruce Carter officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons
