Marie Y. Hurst, of Dacula, GA, passed away on September 22, 2010 at the age of 92. She was a member of Snellville Methodist Church. Mrs. Hurst was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Hurst, a prominent builder and businessman of Atlanta. She is survived by her two children, L.L. Hurst with his wife Elaine of Knoxville, TN, and Dee Ferguson with her husband Donald of Pensacola, FL. Mrs. Hurst is also survived by her sister, Helen Y. Walker, of Atlanta, GA; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. The family requests no flowers or gifts, your prayers are appreciated. Graveside services will be held at Westview Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 24, 2010. The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
