Marion Fern
February 12, 1919 — January 15, 2016
Mrs. Marion Davis Fern, age 96 of Atlanta, passed away January 15, 2016. She was a long term program director and psychiatric nurse for the Atlanta Community Friendship Center. Marion was preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years, Lewis Pettinger Fern and is survived by sons and daughters-in law, Dwight and Gloria Fern and David and Becky Fern; eleven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Ada Mae Kinsey. Funeral services will be held at Clairmont Presbyterian Church at 2:00 pm on Sunday, Jan. 17, 2016 with Rev. Owen Stepp officiating. Entombment will follow in the Sunrise Chapel at Arlington Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 PM this evening (Saturday) at A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
