Marion Perkins

Marion Lester Perkins, belovedly known as "Perk," passed away peacefully on October 10, 2025, at the age of 95 in Buford, Georgia. Born on February 11, 1930, in Avondale Estates, Georgia, Perk lived a life marked by warmth, dedication, and kindness.

Throughout his life, Perk was a pillar of his community, known for his unwavering support for family and friends. His genuine spirit and ability to connect with others left a lasting impact on all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Perk’s legacy will be remembered fondly by those whose lives he touched.

The ceremonies honoring Perk’s life will be held at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory, located at 2773 N Decatur Rd, Decatur, Georgia 30033. Visitation will take place on October 26, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 PM and concluding at 2:45 PM.
