Mark L. Ford

Mr. Mark L. Ford, 54, of Atlanta, died suddenly June 6, 2012. An Atlanta native, Mr. Ford graduated from Paidiea High School, held a Bachelor's Degree of Music and German as well as a Masters Degrees in Teaching English as a Second Language and a Masters Degree in Linguistics from Georgia State University. He taught English a Second Language at Georgia Perimeter College. He loved playing the guitar was a gifted musician and linguist. Mr. Ford is survived by his mother, Mary Caroline Lindsay; sister and brother in law, Diane and Jimmy Dickey, all of Atlanta; brother, Jim Ford of Beijing, China; and 5 nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM, today, Saturday, June 9, in the Chapel of Northside United Methodist Church, with Dr. G. Gil Watson officiating. A. S.
