Mr. Marshall Francis Downing of Norcross passed away peacefully on September, 11, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Deborah Cole Downing of Norcross, GA; daughters Stephanie L. Downing and Samantha C. Downing; sister, Margaret L. Downing of Grayson, GA; brother and sister-in-law Larry Downing and Pat Mathews of Asheville, NC. Marshall spent many years in the music business as a stage and equipment manager for his favorite rock band, Riggs. Most recently, he was employed by Audio Visual Innovations in Atlanta, GA. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service to celebrate Marshall's life at 3 P.M. on Sunday, September 28 at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 1911 Cliff Valley Way NE, AtlantaGA30329. There will be a reception in the church social hall immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Marshall Downing Fund at any Wachovia Bank. A. S.
