Colley as she was known by all who loved her was a 1968 graduate of East Atlanta High School, Atlanta College of Art, and Georgia State University.

She was a very talented artist displaying a wide range of creativity including painting, sculpture and drawing. Colley employed her artistic attention to detail as a professional Cartographer for the State of Georgia, painstaking renderings of the serpentine roadways of Georgia. She was a very spiritual lady and a member of the United Methodist Church. She loved nature & particularly butterflies and flowers. She was the daughter of the late Robert E. Baxter, Sr. and Alma Garrett Baxter of Decatur, sister to the late Robert E. Baxter, Jr., survived by brothers James, Jack and Ben, sister in law Teri, several nephews and niece, and many great nieces and nephews.

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at 11:00 A.M at Melwood Cemetery in Stone Mountain, GA.
