Mary J "Bootsie" Hanson, 87, of Decatur, GA, passed away on August 28, 2012. Mary was born on May 2, 1925. She is survived by son, Allen Hanson, wife Carol, daughter, Brenda Powell, husband, Mac, and son, Tommy Hanson, also by grandchildren, Tony Hanson, Bill Hanson, Terry Hanson, Debbie Vanzo, Brad Powell, Robin Murray, Tricia Paige, Amy Waters, and Elizabeth McKinney; 12 great grandchildren; and sister, Pauline Little. Funeral services will be Thursday, August 30th at 2:00 pm in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons. Interment, Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, August 29th at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
