Matthew Ramsey

Matthew Keith Ramsey,69, of Monroe, GA., passed away on August 9, 2025, in Monroe, GA. He was born on April 28, 1956, in Decatur, GA. to the late Calvin and Helen Ramsey.

After many years as a Sales Manager for Salerno Plastics he retired and enjoyed his Matt's favorite activities, interests, hobbies, and passions: Spending time with his family, going to his grandchildren's sporting events, working in his yard, going to church, going to Braves games, watching college football, working out, getting his hair cut, eating holiday meals with his family, and playing golf.

He is survived by daughters; Jennifer Woodbury (Blake),of Monroe, Rachel Nelson (Erik), of Marietta, grandchildren; Tyler Woodbury, Kendall Woodbury, Juniper Nelson, and Ezekiel Nelson, brother; David Ramsey, and sister; Connie Kenny.

Matt is preceded in death by his wife, Tami Ramsey, and parents Calvin Ramsey and Helen Ramsey.

Family and friends will gather Thursday August 14, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory, 2773 N. Decatur Road Decatur, GA 30033. A Celebration of Life Service will be Friday August 15, 2025, at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Monroe GA., 202 McDaniel St, Monroe, GA 30655. A private interment will be held at Floral Hills Memory Gardens, 3150 Lawrenceville Hwy, Tucker, GA. 30084.
