Mittie Ruth Cater

Mrs. Mittie Ruth Cater, 87, Decatur, died Sunday, March 29, 2009.  She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Decatur and Its Joy Sunday School class.  Mrs. Cater owned and operated her own beauty shop in her

home for 25 years.  She is survived by her husband of 42 years, William T. Cater; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Sharon  Thomas of Snellville; daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Kenneth Fonda of Conyers; grandchildren, Amy  Thomas,  Eric Thomas, John Hawkins; and great grandson, Charles Enter.  Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 1^st at 11 AM in the chapel of the First Baptist Church of Decatur with Dr. Harold D. Zwald, Chaplain Bill Allen and Rev. Joe Gatlin officiating.  Entombment will be at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Fairburn. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 PM Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
