Mr. John Carson Fields
May 29, 1930 — July 31, 2016
John Carson Fields, 86, of Clarkston, died July 31, 2016. A native of Cleveland, GA, Mr. Fields was the son of the late William and Carrie Burnett Fields. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and was a retired civil engineer with the GA Department of Transportation. Survivors include his wife, Margaret Mitchell; son, Ronald Fields; daughter, Kate Fields; brother, Eugene Fields; and a niece, Wanda Gee. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home, Decatur. Interment will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
