Nancy Childress Ellington

Mrs. Nancy Childress Ellington (Nanny) of Gresham Park-Atlanta died Tuesday, June 26, 2007.  She was a member of Martha Brown United Methodist Church in East Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Ed Ellington, and daughter, Willie Ellington. She is survived by daughters, Pam Ryss, Debbie Castellaw and husband Dan, Nan Ellington; sisters, Mickey Segers and husband Larry, Elizabeth Nelson; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 28th, Pastor Jesse Walters officiating. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at A. S. Turner & Sons
