Mrs. Nancy Jane Stewart, 77 of Atlanta, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2012. She was born in Decatur, Illinois to Audrey Frazier and Fred Carter. Nancy is preceeded in death by her husband, John Daniel Stewart, Jr., and is survived by her daughter, Allana Adcock;, son, Allan H. Forsyth, Jr; brothers, Walter L. and Kenneth A. Carter; grandson, Ronald A. Smith; son-in-law, Timothy Adcock and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday May 15, at 2:00 PM at Rehoboth Baptist Church with Rev. Rusty Womack officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to The American Cancer Society. A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
