Neil Baxter

Neil Allen Baxter, 40, of Atlanta, GA. passed away Monday September 22, 2025, at Emory Hospital Decatur. He is the son of Douglass and the late Susan Baxter who preceded him in death on July 31, 2025.

Neil was employed as an automotive parts manager at Porsche Service Center in Atlanta. He was an avid Atlanta Braves, Atlanta Falcons fan as well as a fan of NASCAR and all racing. Jeff Gordan was his favorite driver until he retired.

He is survived by his wife Susan Haverly Baxter. They were high school sweethearts and had been together as a couple since then. He is also survived by his son, Dylan Baxter who was the sparkle in his eyes.

A Celebration of Life service be Saturday October 4, 2025, beginning at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory.
