Pamela Lorentzson

Pam passed away peacefully at the age of 70 in Decatur, Georgia on November 11, 2025.

Pamela Lorentzson was a devoted mother who loved spending time with her children and pets, gardening, and avidly reading books on social science, true crime, art, and history. She was a free spirit, funny, and patient. She is remembered by family and friends as loving, strong, and creative.

Pam's favorite place to be was on the beaches in Florida, where she grew up with her sisters Sue Thiessen and Christy Miller Williams, and brother Steve Spivey with their parents Gene and Barbara Spivey. She made her home in Buford, Georgia.

She was most proud of becoming a mother to her children, daughter Lauren Lorentzson and son Michael Lorentzson, and earning her BA in Anthropology from Agnes Scott College in 1995.

The service for Pamela Lorentzson will be held on Saturday, at 11:00 AM at A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home & Crematory.
