Parker Smith

Parker B. Smith of Decatur passed away Wednesday, August 18, 2004, at his home.  He was 92.  He is survived by his son, Dr. George Smith of Decatur; two daughters, Olivia Newton of Lilburn and Andi Smith of Atlanta; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  Formerly of Elberton, GA, he retired from the US Fish and Wildlife Service after a career as a wildlife biologist.  The body was cremated.  A memorial service for family and friends will be held at a later date.  Friends may make donations to a wildlife organization of their choice.
