February 11, 1933 — July 14, 2011
Patricia Ann Byers, 78, of Avondale Estates died July 14, 2011. She worked until age 71, securing home loans for veterans. She was a member of the Avondale Estates Garden Club and the cancer survivors dance group, Bosom Buddies. A beloved mother and grandmother, she is survived by her four children, Pamela Byers of CA , Amy (Mark) Andrews of Lawrenceville, Bill Byers of TN and Lori (Bill) Garcia of CA; grandsons, Beck and Clayton Garcia; and twin sister, Shirley Faye Somers of NJ. Services will be held on Monday, July 18th at 3pm at Decatur First United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Atlanta. Mrs. Byers will be buried in Rolling Green Cemetery in Camp Hill, PA.
