Patricia A. Bramlette,100,Born November 23, 1925, in Lindale, Georgia, and raised in Rome, Georgia, Patricia attended Lindale Elementary School and later graduated from Cave Spring High School in Floyd County, Ga. From an early age, she demonstrated a love of learning and a determination to pursue new opportunities.

During World War II, Patricia proudly joined the Navy WAVES, serving her country with honor. After her military service, she moved to California and later to New York City, where she studied keypunch technology.

Patricia developed many interests and talents throughout her life. She had a passion for rocks and minerals, becoming an avid rockhound who transformed her discoveries into beautiful handmade jewelry. She was also a gifted photographer with a keen eye for capturing the beauty found in everyday moments. Her love of history led her to become an accomplished genealogist, and she devoted countless hours in her later years to researching and preserving her family's heritage so that future generations would know where they came from.

Patricia also enjoyed following sports and had a few memorable stories of her own. A devoted Atlanta Braves fan, she rarely missed the opportunity to cheer on her favorite team. One unforgettable moment from her early years in California was scoring a hole-in-one, witnessed by legendary golfer Billy Casper.

A strong advocate for equality and justice, Patricia was active in the women's rights movement and was also a compassionate voice for young men and women living with AIDS. She believed in standing up for others and making a difference in the lives of those who needed support.

Due to declining lung health, Patricia relocated from New York City to Phoenix, Arizona, and eventually returned to Georgia, settling in Avondale Estates. After returning to Georgia, she joined Georgia-Pacific and remained with the company until her retirement. She continued to express her many artistic talents and creative gifts for many years thereafter.

The daughter of the late Eugene Bramlette and Bertha Bramlette, Patricia was one of ten children. She was preceded in death by eight siblings, including one who died in infancy. She is survived by her younger sister, Linda, the last living member of their generation, along with many beloved nieces and nephews whose lives she touched in countless ways.

To Linda, Patricia was not only a beloved sister but a source of admiration and inspiration. She cherished Patricia's remarkable spirit, courage, and individuality. Patricia leaves behind a legacy of strength, compassion, curiosity, and creativity that will continue to inspire all who knew and loved her.
