Patricia Myler, lovingly known to all as Granny Pat, passed away peacefully on November 29th, 2025, surrounded by her family. Born and raised in Dublin, Ireland on March 12th, 1931, Granny Pat carried the warmth, humor, and spirit of her Irish roots with her throughout her life.
After immigrating to America, she first made her home in Houston before settling in Atlanta, Georgia, where she became a beloved presence in her community. She truly never met a stranger - everyone knew her, and everyone who knew her loved her.
Granny Pat was the life of every party. She never missed a wedding, a celebration, a dance floor or turned down and gin and tonic. Her quick wit, sparkling personality, and infectious laugh made every gathering brighter.
She was a devoted mother to her sons Sean, Paul, Neil, and Colm, and to her daughter Denise. She cherished her grandchildren - Cara, Jennifer, Michelle, Robert, Katie-Jane, Meagan, Kevin, and Peter - and delighted in her great-grandchildren Grant, Olivia, and Maeve.
Granny Pat will be remembered for her boundless love for her family, her incredible sense of humor, and her unmatched ability to make every person feel welcome and celebrated. To know her was to feel joy.
Patricia "Granny Pat" Myler will be dearly missed by her family and by all who were fortunate enough to share a moment, a song, or a smile with her.
Services will be announced at a later date.
