Pierce Michael Mahony

Pierce Michael Mahony, 86, of Atlanta, died March 8, 2015. Born in Knoxville, TN, Mr. Mahony was a son of the late Pierce Daniel and Pauline G. Mooney Mahony. Mr. Mahony was a retired U.S. Army Lt. Colonel and had worked as Assistant Director of City Planning for the city of Atlanta. Survivors include his wife, Irene Hill Mahony, son and daughter-in-law, Dennis K. and Alyson Mahony; and a grandson, Jadyn K. Mahony. Services will be private. Internment will be Tuesday, January 26, 2016 in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA 22211. A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home, Decatur, GA
