Ralph Carl Thomason

Ralph C. Thomason, 89 of Atlanta, Ga., passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at Bestcare Assisted Living in Lawrenceville, Ga.
Mr. Thomason was born on May18, 1929 in St. Petersburg, Fl. a son of the late Ralph Thomason and Eufaula (Camp) Thomason.


He was employed with John B. Daniel a Pharmaceutical Company for 32 years and then retired from Bank of America. Mr. Thomason was a member of Briarcliff Baptist church for over 50 years and a member of LaVista Lions Club. He loved History and had a great passion for Baseball.


Surviving family members include his daughter, Jane Bush and her husband Gary; daughter-in-law, Diane Pruett; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by the love of his life Readie Mae Thomason whom he shared 54 years of marriage. Mr. Thomason was also predeceased by a daughter, Suanne Wooten and a son, Jim Pruett.


Vitiation will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at A.S. Turner & Son’s Funeral Home, 2773 N. Decatur Road, Decatur, Ga 30033. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Forest Park, Ga. 30297.
