Ramon Rodriguez, Devoted Family Man and Business Leader Dies at 88

Ramon Rodriguez, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully surrounded by family. He was born on March 5, 1937, in Ourense, Spain.

Ramon is survived by his wife of 62 years, Remedios, his five children - Reme, Margarita, Ramon Jr., Jose, and Maria Miller, his eleven cherished grandchildren: Isabella, Maria, Edgar, Lucia, Nicole, Alex, Andres, Olivia, Javier, Christian, Gabriel, Pepito, Ashley, Hailey, and his great-grandchildren: Sofia, Leo, BAM and Annie.

Coming from humble beginnings, Ramon was a visionary businessman who built a highly successful automotive repair company, Vol-Repairs, which grew into several thriving locations. Known throughout the community as the trusted place for honest, high-quality service, Vol-Repairs stood as a testament to Ramon's integrity and entrepreneurial spirit.

Beyond his success in business, Ramon had a passion for real estate, often buying, developing, and selling properties. Yet, it was his love for family, friends, and community that defined his life. His greatest joy was seeing his family loved, happy, and successful. Ramon treated everyone he met like family, freely offering mentorship, and invaluable wisdom to countless young people. He became a guiding figure to many, helping them launch businesses and achieve dreams they thought unreachable.

A father not just to his own children but to many others who found comfort and guidance in his generous spirit, Ramon leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love. His presence filled every room with warmth, and his impact will be felt for generations to come. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered as Papi, Buelo and Ramoncito.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Vincent Paul Society or The Alzheimer Association, causes close to Ramon's heart.

Visitation for Ramon will be held Friday Mayo 2, 2025 from 4 to 8 p.m. at A.S. Turner & Sons, 2773 North Decatur Road, Georgia 30033. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday May 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 3773 Chamblee Tucker Road, Atlanta, GA 30341. All are welcome to attend.

Ramon Rodriguez, querido esposo, padre, abuelo y amigo, falleció en paz rodeado de su familia. Nació el 5 de marzo de 1937 en Ourense, España.

A pesar de sus orígenes humildes, Ramon fue un empresario visionario que fundó una exitosa empresa de reparación automotriz, Vol-Repairs, la cual creció hasta contar con varias sucursales. Vol-Repairs se convirtió en un referente en la comunidad, reconocido como el lugar de confianza para recibir un servicio justo y de alta calidad, reflejando la integridad y el espíritu emprendedor de Ramon.

Además de su éxito en los negocios, Ramon sentía una gran pasión por el sector inmobiliario, dedicándose a la compra, el desarrollo y la venta de propiedades. Sin embargo, su verdadero propósito en la vida fue siempre el amor por su familia, sus amigos y su comunidad. Su mayor alegría era ver a su familia amada, feliz y exitosa. Trataba a todos como parte de su familia, ofreciendo siempre su apoyo, y su experiencia an innumerables jóvenes emprendedores. Fue mentor de muchos, ayudándoles a alcanzar sueños que parecían inalcanzables.

Padre no solo de sus propios hijos sino también de muchos otros que encontraron en él guía y cariño, Ramon deja un legado de bondad, resiliencia y amor incondicional. Su presencia iluminaba cualquier lugar, y su impacto será sentido por generaciones.

Lo extrañaremos profundamente y su memoria vivirá eternamente en todos aquellos que tuvieron el honor de conocerlo.

En lugar de flores, la familia pide que se hagan donaciones a la Sociedad de San Vicente de Paúl o a la Asociación de Alzheimer, causas muy cercanas al corazón de Ramón.

El Velatorio de Ramon se llevará a cabo el Viernes, 2 de Mayo de 2025 de 4 a 7 p.m. en A.S. Turner & Sons, 2773 North Decatur Road, Georgia 30033. La misa funeral se celebrará el sábado, 3 de mayo de 2025, a las 11:00 a.m. en la Iglesia Católica Holy Cross, 3773 Chamblee Tucker Road, Atlanta, GA 30341. Familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados an acompañarnos y rendir homenaje a su vida.
