Ray Lanier Peek

Ray Lanier Peek, 51, died Thursday, November 11, 2004 of complications from lung cancer.  Mr. Peek was a lifelong resident of Decatur and a long time employee of InterCept Systems, Inc.  He is survived by his wife, Lynn Noell Peek, two daughters, Valerie Raye Peek and Anjeanette and Andy Peek Woodworth, his mother, Peggy Lanier Peek, and brother, Roy H. and Sheri Peek, and one granddaughter. A memorial service will be held at Decatur First United Methodist Church at 1pm on Saturday, November 13.  The family will receive visitors at Turner Funeral Home in Decatur on Friday evening from 6-8pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or the Music and Drama Ministry at Decatur First United Methodist Church. A. S. Turner & Sons
