Obituary - Rebecca Horn Maisel

Rebecca Horn Maisel, age 78, passed away on March 22, 2023. She was born in Anniston, Alabama, to Dr. Louis G. Horn, Jr. and Rosa White Horn. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Alvin Maisel; her brother, Dr. Louis G. Horn, III; and her nephew, Joseph Faust Horn. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Joanne Horn, her nephew, Dr. Louis G. Horn, IV, and five great nieces and nephews.

Rebecca grew up in Anniston, Alabama, graduated from Saint Bernard Academy High School in Cullman, Alabama and received her B.S. degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She worked as a medical technician in Birmingham and Atlanta until her retirement in 1999. Rebecca loved playing tennis, where she met her husband, and caring for her cats.

The family would like to extend special thanks to her long-term caregivers, Carolina Flores Parache and Miguel Montoya.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.
