Redmond Thomas (R. Tom) Hill

Mr. Redmond Thomas (Tom) Hill, Jr. of Conyers went to be with the Lord April 18, 2005.  He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the US Navy, Gunnery Division.  He is survived by his wife, Miriam W. Hill; three sons, Redmond Thomas (Tommy) Hill, III of Eatonton, Norman Stanley Hill of Conyers, William Forrest Hill of Conyers; two sisters, Pattie Hudson of Avondale Estates, Geneva McWhorter of Summerville; one brother, Marion Hill of Conyers; 11 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren.  Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 22, at 1:30 pm in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons.  Rev. Steve Murell will officiate.  Interment will be at Midway Presbyterian Churchyard, Decatur, GA.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 pm Friday afternoon at A.S. Turner & Sons.
