Rev. Howard L. Turner

Rev. Howard L. Turner of McDonough died Saturday, August 20, 2005.  He was Pastor of Pine Grove Baptist Church in Stockbridge for 28 years and Community Baptist for 8 years in Henry County.  Rev. Turner was preceded in death by his son, Norman L. Turner.  He is survived by his wife, Ida C. Turner; son, Mark H. Turner; daughters, Vickie Anderson, Lori Spiegel and Dawn Turner; and four grandchildren.  Funeral services for Rev. Turner will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 23rd in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons.  Rev. Andy Mason and Rev. Buddy Shepherd will officiate.  Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Monday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
