Richard Charles Spiller, 89, of Atlanta, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013. A native of Westbrook, ME, he was born November 1, 1923, the son of Arthur and Nellie Spiller. He was a graduate of the University of Maine, a WWII army veteran and was retired from Travelers Insurance Co. He is survived by his wife, Adele Carswell Spiller; sons and daughters in law, Rick and Melanie Spiller, Bruce and Sandra Spiller; grandchildren, Daniel and Ross Spiller and Samantha (Stephen) Richardson. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Bede's Episcopal Church with Rev. Laura Bryant officiating. A.S. Turner Funeral Home and Crematory, Decatur.
