Robert Emory Givens
August 6, 1937 — January 30, 2013
Robert Emory "Bob" Givens of Decatur, GA, died January 30, 2013 after a valiant battle with leukemia. He was born in Citronelle, Alabama on August 6, 1937.
He is survived by Jacque, his wife of 52 years, their four children; Robert Givens, Erin and son-in-law Clay Walker, Jennifer and son-in-law Jason Roberts, and Timothy and daughter–in-law Belinda Givens, five grandchildren; Sarah, Nicholas, Sydney, Sage and Samuel, a sister Thelma (Misty) Simmons, brothers Alfred (Buddy) Givens and Cecil Givens, and his mother-in-law, Ester Williams.
Plans for a memorial service are incomplete but are expected to take place February 9th, at Rehoboth Presbyterian Church in Decatur. Further information will available online at www.asturner.com. A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
