Ruth Allison Thomas

Mrs. Ruth H. Thomas, most recently a resident of Parks Springs Retirement Community in Stone Mountain, formerly of Farragut, TN, died Sunday, June 22, 2008.  Mrs. Thomas was a faithful wife and mother, who kept her mind sharp with reading and word puzzles. Mrs. Thomas was a graduate of King's College. She was a member of P.E.O. and a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her son, David L. Thomas, Jr. of Houston, TX; daughters, Jane A. Thomas of Tucker, GA, Nancy H. Thomas of Vinings, GA; daughter-in-law, Cynthia M. Thomas and beloved grandson, Samuel M. Thomas. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 25th at 4:00 P.M. at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church with Dr. David Kivett officiating.  Interment will be at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park, Marietta, GA.  The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
