Ruth Ray Lee

Mrs. Ruth Ray Lee of Decatur died on November 28, 2024. Mrs. Lee was a woman of integrity and excellence . She took on her roles of wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with passion and love. She was most proud that her three children were graduates of Emory University. She and her husband worked hard to make that happen. Mrs. Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and William Ray; her siblings, Louise, Jimmy, Janie, and Ed; her husband, Robert, and her son, Bob. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Lee of Decatur, GA; her son, John Lee of Jefferson, GA; her daughter-in-law, Paige Lee, of Birmingham, AL; her grandchildren, Christopher and his wife Brooke, Lindsey, Harrison, Draper and his wife Cat; and great-grandchildren, Reese, Jayson, Audrey, Grayson, Caleb, Olivia, Parker; and a host of nieces and nephews. She loved each of them dearly. A memorial service will be held on December 8, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons.
