Sandra Harp Kenney

Sandra Harp Kenney, 79, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on April 18, 2026 in Hoschton, GA. She was born on August 30,1946 in Virginia to Ernest and Goudie Harp. She grew up as a military child living in many states and countries while her dad served in the US Navy.

Sandra was a hard worker taking on many career opportunities all while raising her children. She attended nursing school, was a manager at Jim Thomas Automotive, as well as a landlord owning and managing many houses. She even got her Real Estate license at age 77. Sandra loved animals, owning many dogs, cats, and horses. Sandra spent her off hours outdoors and with her family. She was always finding the positive in every situation and was someone you could count on to be by your side.

She is survived by her children, son, Ernie Scoggins(wife, Sue Scoggins), son, Eric Scoggins(wife, Melissa Scoggins), and daughter, Elaina Everson. Her Grandchildren were all dear to her heart: Andrew Scoggins, Emily Scoggins, Ashlynn Bower, Zachary Everson, Makenzie Scoggins, Emily Knights, and Anna Deangelis.

Also survived by extended family members, including 8 Great Grandchildren. Proceeded in death by her parents, Ernest and Goudie Harp and her granddaughter, Sydney Everson.

Sandra had a fiery, loving spirit that would light up any room she entered. She was loved deeply and will be missed by many. Those who knew her loved being in her presence and receiving her positive energy.

Her Celebration of Life will be held at A.S. Turner and Sons on May 1, 2026 at 12:00 PM with a visitation held an hour prior.
