Sandra Merle Waldrop

WALDROP, Sandra Griffin, a native of Atlanta, passed away unexpectedly on June 12, 2018. Ms. Waldrop, 79, was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Thelma Swaney; son, Ricky Griffin; sisters, Patti Brown and Peggy Harris; and husband, Murray Waldrop. She is survived by daughter, Becky (Richard) Ray; sister, Joyce French; grandsons, Tommy (Kara) Boyer, Blake (Alison) Ray and Michael Griffin; and great-grandson Sawyer Ray. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and friends. A private family service was held on June 18, 2018. Ms. Waldrop was loved by her family and friends. She will be missed and always remembered.
