Sarah Vernon King, 108, of Marietta passed away Wednesday August 2, 2017. Sarah was born on a farm in 1909 in Moreland, GA to John and Elizabeth Nash King. She and her best friend, Lula Johnson, opened Our Beauty Shop in Grant Park. She was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church also located in Grant Park. She is survived by many nieces & nephews and her special friend, Ed Johnson and his wife, Rhonda. Ed is the son her friend, Lula Johnson. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, August 5th at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, Atlanta with Dr. Frank Crumpler officiating.
