Her family was her crown jewel. A lady of many talents, Sheila was an accomplished artist who won awards for her oil and watercolor paintings. She enjoyed sewing, making quilts and was a talented seamstress. She and her mother often spent hours sewing together all to share with family and friends. She was a great cook, always making room for one more at her table. A nature lover of all sorts, she loved gardening. She and Gordon were known for their roses over the years.

She especially loved the yellow ones. Traveling and dogs were among her many passions. She loved traveling with family or friends and was always ready for a trip, either in the USA or abroad. She loved her fur babies. Sheila grew up and spent most of her life in the Methodist Church, but as she got older enjoyed any good pastor and message. For the last 20 years, Sheila was also involved in her Lake Oconee community and previously served as President of her community's Home Owner's Association.
