Born on December 9, 1948, in Mansfield, Ohio to Clayton and Rema (Bond) Pendlum, Stan lived a life characterized by hard work and generosity to all who knew him. Intellectually curious from childhood, he excelled in his studies and in his career. After obtaining a college degree from Morehead State University, he served a four-year interval in Teheran, Iran with the United States Air Force. Stan obtained a master’s degree in economics from the University of Tennessee following completion of military duties.

Stan’s distinguished career in animal health pharmaceuticals led him to spend eight years in Asia servicing 13 countries in the Pacific Rim before landing in Atlanta, Georgia where he resided since 2000. Prior career highlights included time in Newton, Kansas, Saint Louis, Missouri and Chicago, Illinois working for farm machinery manufacturers.

In retirement, Stan’s spent endless hours in his woodworking shop and fishing every opportunity presented. He ventured to Fort Smith, Montana several times each year to flyfish with friends on the Little Big Horn River and relished lake fishing in North Carolina year-round.
