IN LOVING MEMORY OF STEVE PAUL THOMAS BOCZKOWSKI

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Steve Paul Thomas Boczkowski.

Born in England, Steve approached life with a sense of adventure, determination, and curiosity that never faded. As a young man, he came to America and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps, dedicating five years of his life to active duty followed by several years in the reserves. He felt most at home outdoors, whether running along a trail, tending to his garden, hiking through the woods, or spending time with his many dogs. His love of nature, boundless energy, ability to find light even in the most challenging circumstances, and appreciation for life's simple joys inspired everyone around him. These qualities, along with his unwavering spirit and generous heart, will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved him.

Steve had an unforgettable presence, a wonderful sense of humor, and a gift for turning ordinary moments into cherished memories. From endless outdoor adventures and playful nicknames like "yippee dips," he filled every room with laughter, love, and a sense of belonging that those who knew him will never forget.

As a father, he cherished every moment, often capturing life through his camera so he could share those memories with each of his daughters later in life. We would open our mail to find a baby tooth taped to a letter addressed to the Tooth Fairy, or a Polaroid preserving a small, ordinary moment that made his heart smile. Some of our most treasured memories are of long hikes in the desert and bedtime stories, where he transformed into every character, filling the room and our hearts with his booming "Fee, fi, fo, fum."

Steve was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, and friend. One of twelve children himself, he leaves behind his greatest pride and joy: his three daughters and two cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by siblings, nieces, and nephews. While many would describe him as stubborn and private, no one ever questioned the depth of his love for his family. His strength, presence, and unwavering spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Steve's legacy lives on through the stories he created, the laughter he inspired, and the love he so freely gave. Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in the time we shared with him and the countless memories we carry with us each day. Through those memories, his spirit, love, and legacy will live on forever.

A military service honoring Steve's life will be held at 12:30 PM on September 11, 2026, at Canton National Cemetery in Georgia.
