December 26, 1936 - January 8, 2025

In memory of Susie Helton, a woman ahead of her time. Born and raised in the Appalachian foothills on her family's homestead, she began her life rooted in the values of honesty, hard work and compassion.

Susie's determination and curiosity took her far beyond Northeast Georgia. A proud Air Force veteran, high school basketball star, bookkeeper and lifelong civic servant.

A mother, grandmother and great grandmother - the impact of her life was immeasurable.
