Thelma Bray Hanson

Thelma Bray Hanson, 87, of Stone Mountain, died Friday, September 16, 2011. A native Atlantan, Ms. Hanson worked at Hall's Flower Shop for many years. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Shirley and James Chivers of Stone Mountain; daughter, Sherry Steadham of Port St. Joe FL. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Tammy and Steve Baker, Ty and Traci Chivers, Travis and Melissa Chivers, Sherry and David Crissman; great grandchildren, Taylor Medford, Zachary, Hannah, Jake, Colin and Addy Chivers, Jessica Caputo, C. J. and Tyler Crissman; several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, Sept. 19, at 11 AM, in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons. Interment, Floral Hills Memory Gardens. For those desiring, please make a memorial contribution to the Alzheimer's Association of Georgia, Suite 500, 41 Perimter Center East, Atlanta GA 30346. The family will receive friends 3-5 Sunday afternoon at A.S. Turner & Sons.
