Thomas Jefferson Fountain

Thomas J. Fountain, Jr. 88, of Decatur, passed away on June 27, 2013 at his home. Born, September 8, 1925, Mr. Fountain was a life long resident and respected businessman in the city of Decatur that he so dearly loved. Mr. Fountain was a WWII veteran. Preceded in death by his wife, Annalois Raley Fountain, he is survived by his son, Thomas J. Fountain III of Burbank, CA.; daughter and son in law, Cheryl and Benny Ertel of Daytona Beach, FL.; granddaughter, Samantha Ertel and great grandson, Gavin Ertel Linsley, both of Daytona Beach, FL. and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in the chapel of A. S. Turner and Sons in Decatur. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
