Thomas Irvin Lawson

Thomas Irvin Lawson, 85 of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2026. A graveside service will take place at the Campground Cemetery, Mount Zion Church in Morven, GA Friday, August 14, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Born in Quitman, GA, on July 8, 1941, Tom graduated from Florida State University and University of Georgia with a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree. He spent over 30 years as a dedicated pharmacist in Metro Atlanta. Tom's true passion was music. He was an accomplished singer and pianist and loved concerts and musical theater.

Tom was preceded in death by his father and mother, Ernest and Clyde Lawson. He is survived by his first cousin, Howard I. Lawson of Morven. Friends and family are invited to honor Tom's life at Campground Cemetery Mount Zion Church in Morven, GA, on Friday August 14, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. There will also be a memorial service for him at his church, Saint Mark United Methodist Church in Atlanta, at a later date.
