Tom M. Moore, age 76, of Covington, GA passed away September 19, 2015. Tom served his country in the United States Navy for four years on the U.S.S. Hank and was a graduate of Mid America College of Mortuary Science. A licensed funeral director and embalmer he retired after 40 years of service with A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home. He was the son of Clyde Taylor and Cora Loggins Moore. Surviving are his loving wife, Faye Moore; sons David (Jill) Hayes, Brian (Christi) Hayes and Ryan (Beth) Moore; his mother-in-law Mary Lou Smith, six grandchildren, a special friend Gail Tyson and very special friends Wayne and Sandra Yeomans. A graveside service will be held Monday, September 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 20, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at A. S. Turner Funeral Home and Crematory.
