Mr. Val Mason of Decatur died Tuesday, August 12, 2008. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Mason; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 1:00 PM Friday with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2200 Lake Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30319.
